The ROK Florida Winter Tour came to an end last weekend in Orlando, Florida where Birel ART drivers took to the track to secure the top spot in some of the most competitive ROK Vortex classes. Battling with unusually cool temperatures and changing conditions, the team was able to succeed and dominate with confidence.
The 23rd edition of the Winter Cup at Lonato, like the WSK Super Master Series at La Conca, was another opportunity to demonstrate that the Energy Corse chassis and the team remain relentless international benchmarks. Very well represented in Lonato in the Finals in all categories, the Energy brand achieved a magnificent double in Mini Rok with the promising Italian Andrea Antonelli and Poland's Karol Pasiewicz from the team Revolution Motorsport! And at the WSK in 60 Mini, Antonelli took another victory, while the Russian Kirill Kutskov, another member of the factory team, was on the third step of the podium!

Thirteen years old, Thomas Nepveu of Montreal, Canada, signs an official contract with the Official Birel ART Race Team, based in Lissone, Italy. Thomas will compete in the CIK-FIA European and World Championship events, racing in what would be considered the Formula One series of Karting. In fact, the CIK-FIA Karting series is just another step in the pursuit of a Formula One career.
Fuel provider Panta becomes official provider of the German Kart Championship 2018. After a call for proposals, the DMSB chose the corporation from Italy. All four kart grade series DKM (German Kart Championship), DJKM (German Junior Kart Championship), DSKM (German Shifterkart Championship) and DSKC (DMSB Shifterkart Cup) are going to start with the uniform fuel.
