What should have been just a KZN Regional/Club Karting event, was more like a mini national with competitors travelling from Northern Regions and Western Cape to get in some practice before the Idube track closes for the 1st round of the SARMC National in two weeks’ time. But the KZN boys kept the banner flying high, by clinching five overall wins out of six for the day, with Charl Visser from Cape Town taking the Junior Max Class. TYLER MAXSON GAINS EUROPEAN KARTING EXPERIENCE WITH CRG RACING TEAM

In his second trip to Europe in as many months, American driver Tyler Maxson would compete in the Trofeo Andre Margutti this past weekend. Taking place at the famous South Garda Karting facility in Lonato del Garda, Italy, the CRG Racing Team driver continued to gain experience in both dry and wet weather competition.

With the first event of the Texas Sprint Racing Series (TSRS) taking place this past weekend at Speedsportz Racing Park in Houston Texas, Trackside Karting Services would enter eight fierce competitors. Clash of Champions as Rokkers Hit Record Numbers

The two leading Vortex-class Champions from season 2017 in the Australian Kart Championship will go head-to-head in this season’s KA1 Championship (Vortex DVS SV) – which starts this weekend in South Australia. Reigning KA1 Champion, Scott Sorensen will face tough competition from last year’s Junior (KA2) Champion, Broc Feeney – who makes the move into senior competition this weekend at the Monarto Karting Complex – around 45 minutes from Adelaide in South Australia. The two were standouts in their respective categories at the Rok International Final in October last year, Sorensen starting the final on the front row and Feeney finishing the elite Junior category in fifth.

GoPro Motorplex Karting Challenge Round 1

With 114 entries, racing season roared back into action for the GoPro Motorplex Karting Challenge series opener on Saturday. Round One began the 12-Round club championship series at GoPro Motorplex’s 0.7-mile track in Mooresville, N.C. Although a heavy drizzle created an official “Rain Race” event, competitors were able to prove their skill in adverse track conditions and those with rain racing prowess shined.

Bray Dominates Opening Round of NZ ProKart Series
