The 2018 International Kart Federation (IKF) 2-Cycle and 4-Cycle Grand Nationals, previously scheduled for June 27-30 at North Texas Karters (NTK) in Denton, TX, have regrettably been cancelled. There simply were not enough entries to justify a national race.

Just over two weeks out from the International Kart Federation (IKF) 2-Cycle and 4-Cycle Sprint Grand Nationals presented by Maxwell Paper Products, the prestigious Duffy Awards will be up for grabs in a variety of different classes. Hosted by North Texas Karters in Denton, Texas, pre-event registration will remain open until June 18th at midnight as competitors are urged to register in advance.

As the World Karting Association (WKA) Manufacturers Cup returns to the Midwest, series officials are pleased to announce discounted entry pricing for two of the Yamaha powered classes and the return of a popular award. While Yamaha Sportsman and Yamaha Senior drivers will receive entry, tires and two days of racing at a steep discount, KA100 Senior competitors will battle for the popular ‘Sword’ in the KA100 Senior Throw Down at Concept Haulers Motor Speedway.

The BirelART North American team attacked rounds 3 & 4 of SKUSA SpringNationals with confidence this weekend, hosted at the famous PKRA circuit located in Phoenix, Arizona. Blistering hot temperatures forced drivers and teams alike to maintain composure and isolate engine temperatures to normal operating ranges. Despite PSL/BirelART having a strong track history of winning at the PKRA circuit, the team was faced with challenges in this very competitive series and overcame them with great success.

Three of the most iconic races in the history of karting will join forces in 2018 to co-promote the Triple Crown of Karting. Bragging rights and trophies in North America will be awarded to the top street racers in 4 classes.
