The third round of the German Championship DKM held in Wackersdorf has highlighted the speed of CRG drivers that now are leading KZ2, OK and OK-Junior classifications.
The Prokart Raceland Wackersdorf welcomed 160 participants to the half-time races of the four grade series of the German Kart Championship last weekend (July 8th – 9th). The fields were very balanced – there were seven different winners in eight races. The fights for the title are therefore still very exciting.
The new leaders of the CIK-FIA European Championship standings after the round in Le Mans: Vidales (I - Zanardi -Parilla OK), Köhler (D-Tony Kart-Vortex KZ2), Edgar (GB - Exprit-TM OKJ) and Handsaeme (B-Exprit-Vortex Academy).
Dennis Hauger claimed P3 on CRG-Parilla in OK in Le Mans (France), but was later on demoted to a forth place, a result that definitely does not spoil his good performance.

The European Championship race held in Spain has handed the third victory in a row to Paolo De Conto, a result that earned him the mathematical certainty of winning the 2017 continental campaign.
After the round in Oviedo (E) of the CIK-FIA European Champ, De Conto (I - CRG-TM) secures the KZ title. Vidales (E – Tony Kart-Vortex) and Thompson (GB – FA Kart-Vortex) lead in OK and OKJ.
The number of drivers partaking in this event has reached level 140, due to the limited participation in OK-Junior and KZ4, but presence in Mini has been high with 65 drivers, KZ2 had 29 and the two ACI Karting series with Iame engines featured 34 drivers at the Circuit of Sele in Battipaglia

The event proved the series continued growth from 2016 and race one with a record number of 78 entries in both the two-stroke and four-stroke classes for this second event of the year.
Stan Pex took a double win in the second round of DKM in Kerpen (Germany) and became the new KZ2 classification leader, Dennis Hauger won OK and Kas Haverkort OK-Junior.
All in all, 153 drivers from more than 20 nations started and showed thrilling races in high temperatures. In the evening the winners were David Detmers (DSKC), Stan Pex (DSKM), Mattia Michelotto, Kas Haverkort (beide DJKM) as well as David Schumacher and Dennis Hauger (both DKM).

Maranello Kart locked out the top 5 of Mini with Lukas Zbul, William Hofer, Lukas Hofer, Kiano Blum and Yannick Federer in Germany at Wackersdorf. Blum is the classification leader.
