Today Lance Stroll, the 2016 FIA Formula 3 European Champion, and Antonio Giovinazzi, runner-up in the 2015 FIA Formula 3 European Championship, have taken part in their first Formula 1 race. In Melbourne’s Albert Park Williams Martini Racing driver Stroll had to retire, while Giovinazzi brought home a 12th place for his Sauber F1 Team.
Today, Sebastian and Ferrari were well-deserved winners. From the early stages of the race, it was clear that Sebastian was very quick because Lewis wasn’ t able to pull away.

The day started off tough and it was hard to recoup from that. What happened in FP3 was a little touch and it led to a lot of things. The qualifying session was in a rush and we didn’t get to do what we had planned.
