The worldwide Rotax family returns to the Bahrain International Karting Circuit for the season highlight, the RMC Grand Finals (RMCGF) 2023 and we are glad to announce that we have our long-term chassis partners, Birel Art, IPKarting and Sodikart onboard supporting us for this exceptional event as well as a newcomer at the RMCGF, the Charles Leclerc Kart.

“It is our pleasure to be back at this special location and I would like to thank all the participating teams and partners for their dedicated effort to plan and organize the RMC Grand Finals in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and a special thanks to the hosting track, the Bahrain International Karting Circuit,” says Peter Ölsinger, General Manager BRP-Rotax / Member of the Management Board, Vice President Sales, Marketing RPS-Business & Communications. “This year, we will have the invaluable support of our long term chassis manufacturers, Birel Art, IPKarting and Sodikart, while we are welcoming a new brand at the Grand Finals with the Charles Leclerc Kart.”
Following the launch of the Charles Leclerc Kart in late 2019, the new signature brand of the Scuderia Ferrari F1 driver from Monaco, manufactured by one of our event chassis partners Birel ART in Italy, was confirmed to be on the grid for the RMC Grand Finals 2020 in Bahrain. Now in 2023, it is a pleasure to welcome the Charles Leclerc kart to this year’s RMCGF for the DD2 Masters class at the venue the 25-year-old himself claimed victory last year in Formula One. Charles is known to have enjoyed many of the best times in motorsport from his karting days, where he also learned the most to become a champion. Ironically, former F1 star Rubens Barrichello, from the very same team as Leclerc, recently won his third RMCGF ticket while wearing his CL race suit.

“The reliability and professionalism of our official chassis partners, who provide the highest quality products and support for our global customers, is an essential part of our decision to work together. Beyond that, they are bringing their individual teams of experts and staff to the event to share the technical know-how with all the competitors using their equipment throughout the whole week,” Ölsinger continued. “The RMCGF is all about giving the best of the best in every nation and RMC championship the opportunity to shine. We know how vital providing the expected parity, reliability and equality is for the driver to make the difference.”

The Chassis Partners 2023 will support the following categories:
Birel Art       Rotax 125 Mini MAX, Rotax 125 MAX DD2
IPKarting     Rotax 125 Micro MAX, Rotax 125 Junior MAX
CL Kart        Rotax 125 MAX DD2 Masters
Sodikart       Rotax 125 Senior MAX, Rotax E20 Senior and E20 Senior Masters
