The Trofeo delle Industrie is now ready for the start of its 51st edition at the South Garda Karting circuit in Lonato. With the registrations received in recent days, the total number of participants has reached and surpassed 240, with the current list totaling 244 drivers from a remarkable 42 different nations.
Another great result that confirms how much this event, created in 1971 at the behest of its founder, Umberto Pellegrini, and still organized today by the Pellegrini family with Parma Motorsport, is still very much alive. The grids are virtually full in all categories, with a highly competitive KZ2 that has become even livelier, reaching 51 drivers with additional outstanding entries, such as Riccardo Longhi with BirelART, a two-time Trofeo delle Industrie winner in KZ2. There are also notable entries from teammates Alessio Piccini with Tribe One Motorsport and Daniel Vasile with KCS Racing.
The MINI category has also seen growth, with 96 drivers between Gr.3 and Under 10. There is also strong participation in OK-Junior, with 42 drivers coming from 22 nations, not only in Europe but also from Japan, Turkey, China, and Indonesia, including the English driver Jesse Phillips with Fusion Motorsport, who recently won the international race for the OK-N Junior Road to the OK-N World Cup.
Participation in the X30 Junior and Senior categories is also positive, with 55 drivers.
Beyond Italy, with 93 drivers, Sweden is the foreign country with the highest number of entries, reaching 17 drivers. The most numerous team is the Team Driver with 18 drivers. In addition to representation from all of Europe, there are drivers from Australia, Canada, China, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and the United States.
