An eighth place in Group E had kicked off the weekend for the DPK driver, who was subsequently involved in the five qualifying heats completed with four useful results and a forced retirement in the last race on Friday. That stop proved fatal in the combined standings for the start of Prefinal B.
Starting from 24th position, Mark did not manage to reach the second qualification in a row for the final but, in any case, he showed his competitiveness by fighting throughout the race and finishing in P23. Under the eyes of his coach Felice Tiene, Kastelic nevertheless put in his safe deposit some very useful experience for the race of Sarno of the OKJ European Championship in the next months.
Mark Kastelic will be back on track next week for the first round of the WSK Euro Series at the South Garda Karting of Lonato.
