Therefore, we believe it is the right decision to bring the RMC Grand Festival one week forward. In this case, the event will be rescheduled to the famous Erftlandring circuit at Kerpen, Germany on August 20 & 21 (with free practice optional – Friday, August 19).
The new venue is approximately a 90 minute drive from the track at Eindhoven in The Netherlands.
The Chrono Karting Dutch RMC (rounds 4 & 5) will take place that weekend at Kerpen, although the national Micro MAX and Mini MAX categories eligible for series’ points will not apply in Germany.
The RMC Grand Festival will be combined with the Dutch RMC timetable, but will follow its own alternate format on the official competition days – Registration, allocation of Parc Fermé slick tyres, Scrutineering and Free Practice are scheduled for Saturday, while Drivers’ Briefing, Qualifying and Pre-final/Final racing is on Sunday.
The entry fees and the great prizes remain the same for the RMC Grand Festival participants, with practice for all competitors also possible Friday according to the supplied timetable on the day.
The winners of the Micro MAX and Mini MAX classes will be awarded an RMC Grand Finals 2022 ticket to compete in Portimao, Portugal from November 19-26 representing their home country as the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Festival 2022 champion.
The top three drivers in Sunday’s Finals will be awarded their fantastic trophies on the podium in both the Micro Max and Mini MAX classes.
The regulations are based on the original RMC Grand Festival 2022 event, sanctioned by the KNAF (Dutch ASN) and authorised by the DMSB (German ASN) for this event from August 19-21.
Attached to this email you will find the timetables.
