The weekend of the Forza Racing driver went in the best way, leading Kai to fight for the top positions in the Junior classification. After a difficult qualifying session, as always the American driver did his best to get back to the top of the standings, a mission that was completely successful after five good heats where Kai qualified in 10th position for Sunday morning’s B pre-final.
On the last day of the race, Sorensen remained focused and brought out the best in his kart after working hard with his team. Unlike Adria, where Kai had to say goodbye to the race in the final phase, on the circuit of Sarno he brought home a great fourth position after six overtakes. In the OKJ Final, thanks to a good starting position and a great race pace, Sorensen recovered another four positions to reach the third step of the podium.
A positive and very convincing weekend that will allow Kai Sorensen to come back to Sarno with a lot more awareness for the great challenge of the FIA Karting European Championship.
