Christoph Hold has been very quick at the first round of DKM in Ampfing on Maranello-Tm securing the first points in the championship.
The important German series DKM kicked off at the circuit of Ampfing and Maranello Kart had positive indications with Christoph Hold, the quick Austrian driver that is shining on the KZ2 International scene.
Christoph Hold has been very quick for the whole weekend in Ampfing on Maranello-Tm run by Maranello Austria. He posted the sixth quickest time of his group in qualifying, which was worth the eighth absolute performance, just one tenth shy of Federer’s pole position.
He also put in strong performances in the heats, pulling a fourth and an eighth place that placed him on the seventh spot of Race-1’s starting grid. A series of issues did not allow Hold to show his best in Race-1 and he closed his effort in 21st position. In Race-2 he recovered well up to P15 though.
Christoph Hold is currently 15th in the classification with 7 points. This is a good start of the DKM campaign for the Austrian driver of Maranello Kart, who was fourth last year in KZ2 Cup after fighting till the end for the runner-up position.
