In a challenging portion of the 2016 schedule, Team BENIK took it all in stride as they competed in two different national series in two different states in the past two weeks. First doing battle at the USA International Raceway (USAIR) in Shawano, Wisconsin in the United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS), the Florida based team would then pack up and travel to Tooele, Utah for the second round of the US Open program at the Utah Motorsports Campus.
Three different drivers on the same brand of chassis were the class of the Rotax Micro MAX field at the opening round of the MAXSpeed Entertainment promoted US Open this past weekend at the NOLA Motorsports Park just outside of New Orleans, Louisiana. Diego LaRoque, James Egozi and Carson Morgan all took a turn at the front of the talented field of drivers and at the end of the week, would be the only three to have their names shine in Micro MAX.

The first weekend of ROK competition at the Florida Winter Tour saw tornado warnings and heavy rain in Homestead, pushing much of Friday’s track activity to Saturday. But the wet weather didn’t affect the results of BENIK Kart drivers, who brought home several top-five and top-ten results in the Vortex Micro ROK and Mini ROK classes.
